Activation code

During the installation you will need an activation code, which you can purchase from  The Associated Press Stylebook store. 

System Requirements

StyleGuard for Word

  • Windows:

    • Microsoft Windows XP or higher
    • Microsoft Office 2007 or higher (except Starter edition), or Microsoft Word 2007 or higher

  • macOS:

    • macOS 10.6.8 and later
    • Microsoft Office for macOS 2011 and 2016
  • Internet Connection (optional after initial activation)

StyleGuard for Outlook

Windows

  • Microsoft Windows XP or higher
  • Microsoft Office 2007 or higher (except Home and Student edition and Starter edition), or Microsoft Outlook 2007 or higher
  • Internet Connection (optional after initial activation)

* StyleGuard for Word operates on Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 running Microsoft Word 2007-2016.
